Gathering action items and feedback IS essential to getting any return on conventions, conferences, lunch and learns or educational dinner meetings. Even presenters need to capture key feedback and be expected to share what they heard or learned in the post-presentation conversations.
Direct follow-up with prospects and clients from marketing as a group and individually from local representatives is an often missed opportunity. Booth visit lists need to be entered
into CRM databases within 10 days and those entries flagged at the representative level as soon as entry is completed. A follow-up call from an inside representative or site visit can yield opportunities that support events’ purposes and each customer’s experiences.
A booth visit or meeting attendance does not equal intent.”
