Designer breeds have no better or worse health than pedigree dogs

Researchers from the Royal Veterinary College say their study “contradicts the commonly held belief that crossbreeds are inherently healthier than pedigree dogs.” The study looked at labradoodles, cavapoos and cockapoos and the four breeds they are produced from.
