AI won’t replace B2B copywriters, because it can’t

Source: The Drum, March 13, 2024. Link. AI can really churn out some very average combinations of words, says Georgie Everitt. AI shows us the derivative, the dull, and the done so that our brains can use that to create the right story.

The danger is that, with tools like AI, we risk diluting markets with a sub-standard sameness written in grammatically correct sentences but doesn’t get results, with nobody really understanding why.”

The vicitims hailed from Los Angeles, Riverside and Orange counties, while the suspect maintained a strong alibi: It had never visited California.

Scientists figure out why Labrador Retrievers can never eat enough (video)

Source: Gizmodo, March 7, 2024. Link. (1:06) About 25 percent of Labradors are hard-wired for obesity according to newly published research. A common mutation in Labrador retrievers causes them to experience greater hunger than usual while also reducing their metabolic rate, both of which make the dogs predisposed to obesity.

Want a more sustainable meat for the grill? Try a 13-foot python snake.

Source: The Washington Post, March 14, 2024. Link. They’re scaly, fork-tongued and can measure upward of 20 feet long. Pythons may also be one of the most Earth-friendly meats to farm on the planet. A group of researchers studied two large python species over 12 monts on farms in Thailand and Vietnam – where snake meat is considered a delicacy – and found that they were more efficient to raise than livestock.
