Growing up with pets reduces asthma risk
Source: Catster, May 12, 2023. Link. A study found that Japanese kids who grew up with dogs or cats in the home were about half as likely to develop asthma as children who did not live with pets. Dog exposure in the child’s first year of life is more critical.
Kansas State chosen to lead global animal health effort

Supported by the World Health Organization the overall objective is improving the health of terrestrial livestock and aquaculture.
