ASPCA Right Horse program; a solution for long-distance horse adoption

Check those home fragrance diffusers, some being recalled

Source: Martha Stewart, July 25, 2025. Link. Pura is recalling its Pura 4 smart home fragrance diffuser. The magnets on the inside of the detachable covers can become dislodged, posing a choking hazard to children <and potentially pets>. The recalled diffusers were sold on Pura’s website, Amazon, Target, Scheels, and other stores nationwide from August 2023 through May 2025.

 

Robotic bunnies taking on invasive Burmese pythons in Florida

Burmese pythons aren’t native to Florida where a burgeoning population has contributed to population declines of a half-dozen animals, including raccoons, opossums, bobcats, foxes, marsh rabbits and cottontail rabbits. Mechanical rabbits are being tested to help researchers gain knowledge about python behavior in hopes of curtailing the python population.
