Team Fluff defeats Team Ruff in Puppy Bowl

Source: USA Today, February 8, 2026. Link. (includes video clips of the action) The 22nd Puppy Bowl included 150 dogs from 72 shelters across the United States, Puerto Rico and the British Virgin Islands, a new record. The event highlights the need for pet adoptions.

 

Is biocontrol a viable alternative to chemical parasite management?

Source: AAHA Trends, February 2, 2026. Link. One alternative to chemical parasiticides is to use biocontrol. Experts note that biocontrol is unlikely to replace chemical parasiticides entirely, but it could serve as a complementary tool in integrated parasite management as research continues to evaluate its safety, consistency, and practical application in veterinary settings.

 

How far can a dog smell?
