In every state, it is illegal for you to pass a school bus while the stop arm is extended and the red lights are flashing.
Wildlife scientists using AI to reduce wildlife deaths caused by fences

A major challenge is to know where the fences are and that’s where Wenjing Xu, PhD and Zhongqi Miao, PhD are deploying AI.
Largest animal genome sequenced in a species of lungfish

It is 30 times bigger than the human genome and carries 91 billion base pairs, or letters, of DNA in their genomes. The lungfish is a primeval, air-breathing fish that “hops” onto land from the water using weird, limb-like fins.
Nonprofit raises millions for dogs with special needs
