We often think of dairy cows as Holsteins, but this recap of the recent World Dairy Expo shows the variety of breeds that produce milk. Delilah became the second Brown Swiss ever to claim back-to-back World Dairy Expo Supreme Champion titles.
Sixty-two thousand people from 94 countries attended the five-day event in Madison, Wisconsin. Visitors from Canada, Mexico, Italy, China, Brazil and Japan represented nations with the most attendees, respectively. In the dairy barns, 1,642 exhibitors from 34 states and seven Canadian provinces checked in 2,331 head of dairy cattle.
