Commentary
A recent discussion emphasized the WHY of Animal Health Digest. A semi-retired sales and marketing colleague inquired about writing part-time. As much as this person would like to contribute to AHD, it became apparent the realities of schedules, family and personal care would interfere.
Time IS a precious commodity.”
Responding to this inquiry I offered, “Your reality underscores a top benefit of AHD’s weekly Bulletin. We live busy and disrupted lives. Those of us providing services often put aside our own needs and desires*. As the clock ticks away, quadrant 2 items become quadrant 1 urgencies or get relegated to “one of these days.” Things like connecting with friends, follow-up with long-shot prospects, personal development and reading all get put onto that “someday” shelf.
Plus, we offer a big thank you to LinkedIn user Brendon Howard for sharing the AHD Bulletin gospel. Link.
*Had to pause to scratch a pup wanting attention. 😉
