
Athenais Sivaloganthan believes geopolitical tension, economic volatility, rapid technological change and a relentless news cycle have made disruption part of the everyday operating environment rather than the exception. As a result, employees are exposed to prolonged uncertainty even when events do not directly affect their roles or locations.
Sivaloganthan argues that resilience now means identifying the need to preserve human capabilities on which operations depend. These include judgment, attention, communication, decision-making and the ability to perform safely under pressure.
