Member support and engagement are basic tenets of the Veterinary Virtual Care Association. A new, interactive VVCA Community will provide member-only engagement, peer-to-peer conversations, increased learning, exclusive interviews and networking groups. Updating current membership information and registering is required.
The VVCA upgrades will further support telehealth and virtual care as part of an elevated standard of care in veterinary medicine. VVCA Community deliverables advocate best practices, provide educational resources and create opportunities for a wide alliance of professionals to congregate.
Community is how we are able to advance, community is how we are able to innovate and we are just on the cusp of this forward-looking trajectory. Advances inside a profession are not created in silos.” Ali McIntyre, executive director of the VVCA

Telemedicine is here to stay – for us personally in our own health, and for the health of our pets. Consumer demand won’t let us go backward at this point.” – Ali McIntyre

INSIGHTS: “Covid-19 took pre-existing communication and workflow problems and put them on a fast-forward, creating tremendous stress on an already stressed-out group of incredible professionals. Addressing regulatory intricacies of the veterinary-client-patient- relationship (VCPR) was a top priority as we initiated the association,” says Dr. Jessica Vogelsang, founding member of VVCA. “Today those regulatory differences are clarified. Regulatory communications continue on behalf of the entire profession.”
