They may be reaching retirement age and would like to maximize the valuation of their business. They may be looking for ways to increase their profitability. There are a wide variety of potential objectives, so don’t assume. If you do, at least verify your assumptions before acting.
INSIGHTS: Gut check time. Assume nothing without checking with all the decision makers, decision influencers and gatekeepers.
