Mental-health conditions are often underdiagnosed and undertreated, mostly because of stigma, Loeppke said. More attention has been given to mental health recently as more employees ask for help from their employer as they experience record rates of depression, anxiety, stress and burnout.
INSIGHTS: “Stress is the most ubiquitous toxic exposure of our time,” Loeppke said. Note the comments about management commitment and abiding by a culture of health. Wellness is not a one-of training program.
