- Treat your technician staff well and value their input. Tell them it is OK to disagree with the Dr.
- Don’t work in a vacuum, get input from everyone.
- Treat every pet as if it were your own.
- When you create patient care standards make sure they are uniform, sensible and communicated to the whole team.
- Create a litmus test. For every decision ask, “how does this impact patient care?”
