Pet parents are on the go, but still want to spend as much time as possible with their pets. This demand has caused an influx of new opportunities including a sharp growth in pet-friendly hotels and even the creation of pubs that have a dog park on site with dog sitters monitoring services.
INSIGHTS: From an animal health population perspective, the need to promote more universal preventatives rather than regional ones is a natural outcome. Diseases like lyme, heartworm, Bordetella, and lepto, as well as various parasites are no longer geographically specific. So, the old adage, “we don’t see that much around here,” begs to be challenged on an individual pet basis at minimum.
