Oral health is one example of where groomers can have a significant positive impact, writes Kara Burns, MS, MEd, LVT VTS. We agree. In addition to groomers, boarding and daycare personnel have increased access to pets and pet owners to educate and reinforce the importance of regular oral care. Many progressive pet care pros now add oral care to their routine services using convenient products** now available in the marketplace.

INSIGHTS: AHD remains assertive with content about oral care. Oral care at home, COHAT in the clinic is one of many posts <Link> touting pet oral care as a critical component of healthy pet management. We believe it is as important as vaccines and flea, tick and heartworm prevention. Oral care remains an opportunity for veterinary clinics, groomers, pet care service providers and retailers.
