The AAHA Standards of Accreditation were created to help standardize and promote excellence in care in the veterinary profession and for veterinary practices. Since 1933, these standards have been updated to reflect evolving industry standards. The enhanced standards were developed to keep these practices at the forefront of advanced veterinary medicine.
Standards are created to ensure they reflect recent veterinary medicine developments, in addition to AAHA’s team philosophy. Accreditation is supported by AAHA Practice Consultants.

INSIGHTS: We provide this information especially for sales representatives who may have a newly accredited practice in their area. Consider accreditation as an opportunity to discuss what is needed to service the practice following this achievement.
For those not familiar with AAHA accreditation, note that it is unique to veterinarians. No standards exist for any other medical disciplines, such as dentists, podiatrists, chiropractors, optometrists and others.
