The early bird gets the worm and may also be healthier than night owls whose biological clocks prefer late nights and wee morning hours. Research by Knutson and von Shantz shows night owls’ behavior is associated with a range of health problems that include obesity, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease and early death.
