
New data from Pet Sitters International’s 2026 State of the Industry Survey reveals that the average annual revenue for professional pet sitters continues to rise, and a majority of pet sitters expect revenues to continue to grow. According to the survey, the average gross revenue for U.S. pet sitters in 2025 was $112,423, a 12 percent increase from $100,537 in 2023. The average gross revenue for Canadian pet sitters in 2025 was $166,118 (CAD), compared to $100,764 in 2023.
