Canine Blood Heroes is a group started in 2009 by Adam Petersen, a veterinarian from Idaho Falls, Idaho. A lot of the blood local clinics use comes from national banks including Hemopet in California or Blue Ridge Blood Bank in Virginia, but Petersen wants to create more local options for clinics to help expedite the process of getting blood when they need it the most.
