- Temperatures below 20 degrees as well as 40 degrees signal pet care action
- Winter chemicals can be hazardous such as antifreeze and some snow melt formulas
- Indoor hazards including fireplaces, space-heaters and wood-burning stoves
- Humans using skis and sleds
- Remember the leash
