Wouldn’t we like to hear an admission of failure instead of excuses more often? According to Justin Grady, most of us are failure hypocrites. Justin claims to be a complete failure, out of which he cultivates creativity and helps others do the same. He speaks to leaders and failures. From our perspective, any animal health pro is a leader when interacting with an animal owner. Justin’s thinking applies to each of us.

Not owning up to our failures can cause four very real problems. If you can’t admit failure:
- You cannot connect with your team
- You won’t learn from it
- You won’t tolerate it from others
- You’ll find your own future failures tough to handle
