FOMO, the fear of missing out, is an addiction to novelty, writes Reneil. It may be about anything, but whatever it is, you’re not the only one who has experienced it, is experiencing it, nor would experience it.
Reneil references social media as essentially turning us into a sensation receptacle. We stimulate our minds with more and more information about everything, yet enjoying none, not even the ones you’re experiencing.
