Every successful business has a list of key performance indicators (KPIs) that provides the essential data necessary to grow. Successful leaders need their own KPIs that include feedback from their associates, as well as a rigorous self-examination.

Leaders are merely stewards. We don’t own the people, the ministry, or the organization we lead. We merely steward the opportunity for a season. Someone will come along after us. Because our leadership is short, we should lead and serve with thoughtful intentionality.
INSIGHTS: Leaders are never as good as their supporters profess. Nor, are they as bad as their detractors claim. Honest, ruthless self-examination will temper these two extremes and identify a path for continuing growth.
