From eye contact to empathy, business leaders shared concerns about employee business behaviors in a survey conducted by ResumeBuilder.com. The results show that employees need refreshers on how to do such things as hold workplace conversations, dress appropriately, take lunch breaks and even make eye contact. Some employers are now offering etiquette classes.

Sadly many people hide their true nature during interviews and in the first weeks after being hired. It’s when they become “comfortable” at work, or something in the media comes up that they are opinionated about, that they show their true beliefs and behaviors. Unprofessional behavior must be addressed quickly and employees made to understand how to behave in their workplace.
