The nearly 200 pages celebrating American Saddlebred horses, their owners, trainers and show results is a reminder of just how much passion, time and effort is involved in equine ownership. The final jewel in the Triple Crown of the American Saddlebred/Hackney/Roadster show season once again took its historic spot in Kemper Arena where the 2015 National Champions were crowned. From November 10-14 most of the best of the best were in Kansas City for the UPHA/American Royal National Championship Horse Show with many classes loaded with world’s titleholders. Show secretary Beth Snider reported 695 horses shown, 1273 stalls sold and a total of 1322 entries.
INSIGHTS: Breed association publications and websites can be valuable orientation and educational tools for sales representatives, dealer personnel or veterinary staff members. This issue was filled with photos of both human and equine participants in the recent event in Kansas City. In addition to recognizing someone you might know, the photos collectively provide a valuable look at this sector of the equine market.
