There are conditions that can be missed if urinalysis is not performed, writes Candice P. Chu, DVM, PhD, DACVP. She says these three results can be missed without urinalysis:
- Proteinuria
- Glucosuria: Fanconi syndrome
- Bacteriuria: Subclinical bacteriuria
