The Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association and its sister publication, the American Journal of Veterinary Research, are being modernized rapidly under the leadership of its latest editor, Lisa Fortier, DVM, PhD. An updated website and the immediate appearance of journal articles in PubMed and ePub ahead of print are examples, along with more rapid review times to get information into veterinarians’ hands.
