Their recent report on oral health issues, while not surprising, quantifies the challenges veterinary teams face in making oral health an integral part of managing a pet’s overall health and well-being.
Animal Health Digest has championed pushing the first line responsibility for oral care down to pet owners such as, “Advancing oral care at home, COHAT in the veterinary hospital. <Link>.” Different than the daily reminders given by good moms and dads before school, pet oral care requires action and establishing a daily routine.
