INSIGHTS: Amazon represents a remarkable force that animal health pros should understand. Customer centricity and excessive choices make up its core. As a consumer, it is hard to be an expert on all categories. This is an opening for the more traditional animal health business, especially when it comes to keeping animals healthy and happy. When we add a personal touch, experience or recommendation to a transaction, plus personalized follow-up, customers will value and pay more for that confidence. While Amazon makes shopping easy, individual animal care from professionals is still delivered relationally.
