Alexander Hamilton sent his son Philip the following letter in 1800. It laid out a set of rules that Philip should follow to make the most out of his legal training after his graduation from college. Impractical in society today? Maybe. But it is worthy of consideration for our children and for ourselves. Note the focus Monday through Friday and the weekend freedom from work.
