Five advanced beef cattle care and health training sessions in February and March will offer Kansas beef producers the latest ways to improve animal welfare and food safety. Kansas State University veterinarians Dan Thomson and A.J. Tarpoff will lead the trainings.

INSIGHTS: Kansas animal health pros can add value for their customers by offering to register them for these trainings and attending with them. Producers and veterinarians who attend will earn a BQA certification that will be good for three years. Workshops are free and include a meal. Can’t beat that.
