Halloween always brings out the black cat = bad luck phrase. Beyond nine lives or a cat having your tongue, there are other supposed truisms that just aren’t:
- Cats are nocturnal
- Cats and milk go together
- Purring always indicates happiness
- Pregnant women should not be around cats
- A cat can steal a baby’s breath
