James Dean and Monte Sullivan survived horrific wild pig attacks in 2019 and 2022 respectively. They shared their harrowing stories with AgWeb’s Chris Bennett. Their experiences reflect the reality that the odds of chance encounters with the beasts are greater now with the U.S. wild pig population at about 7 million compared with 2.5 million in 1982.
